Zremasterowany pięknie wydany zestaw poświęcony debiutanckiemu albumowi
Barclay James Harvest. Oprócz samego albumu można tu usłyszeć aż 33
utwory bonusowe: nowe miksy utworów z albumu, nagrania z sesji dla BBC z
1968 i 1971r., single "Early Morning", "Brother Thrush" i "Taking Some
Time On", solowe nagranie demo Woolly'ego Wolstenholme'a z 1969r., a na
DVD obok wersji 5.1 surround znalazł się również krótki film "Mr.
Sunshine" z 1968r.
Wydawnictwo uzupełnia bogato ilustrowana 68-stronicowa książeczka z
niepublikowanymi zdjęciami, faksymile programu trasy z orkiestrą z
1970r., pocztówki i replika plakatu reklamowego z 1968r. do singla
"Early Morning".
W kwietniu 1968r. Barclay James Harvest wydali swój pierwszy singiel
"Early Morning" nakładem wytwórni EMI, a rok później podpisali kontrakt
z nazwaną na ich cześć wytwórnią Harvest - progresywną "córką" EMI.
Debiutancki album zespołu ukazał się w czerwcu 1970r., łącząc wspaniale
orkiestrę z rockiem, co w efekcie stworzyło unikatową, czasem pastoralną
odmianę symfonicznego prog-rocka. Album wyprodukował Norman Smith (Pink
Floyd, The Pretty Things). Nad całością dominował 12-minutowy epicki
utwór "Dark Now My Sky".
