Drugi z serii zremiksowanych i poszerzonych klasyków zespołu, które z
oryginalnych taśm studyjnych przygotował Steven Wilson z Porcupine Tree
przy pełnej aprobacie członków zespołu.
Na CD znalazł się nowy miks stereo albumu oraz studyjna wersja "Clap" i
wydłużona wersja "A Venture". Blu-ray to całe bogactwo materiału: m. in.
miks 5.1 DTS-HD master audio surround (24bit/96kHz), nowy miks stereo
DTS-HD master audio surround (24bit/96kHz), instrumentalne wersje
wszystkich nowych miksów oraz wiele innych dodatków.
Czterdzieści trzy lata po wejściu albumu na brytyjską listę przebojów i
po wielu sukcesach trudno myśleć o tym wydawnictwie jako o "trudnym
trzecim albumie". A jednak ze wspomnień muzyków widać wyraźnie, ze sesje
nagraniowe odbywały się w czasie dalekim od ideału - zespołowi w
przeciwieństwie do wielu innych brytyjskich wykonawców nie udało się
dotrzeć do szerszej publiczności i osiągnąć sukcesu komercyjnego.
Dopiero pojawienie się gitarzysty Steve'a Howe'a i ścisła współpraca z
producentem/inżynierem Eddie'em Offordem pozwoliły nagrać płytę, która
opinii Jona Andersona była "pierwszym prawdziwym albumem Yes". I stąd
jej tytuł.
